Some great experimental work going on this evening. Nicola is starting her repeat prints onto book cloths.
Emma is been working on abstract monotypes.

Some more reduction cut prints have been completed this week.
The group have also been getting their heads around multiple block printing. Some great results so far.

Compton Verney - Picasso on Paper
Picasso created over 2000 prints during his lifetime - he regarded printmaking as important as painting. Just starting at Compton Verney is an exhibition called Picasso on Paper which charts his creative process.

Finishing off our colour reduction lino cuts today. Some fantastic results.
Tess wasn't able to do lino cuts today because of a problem with her hand, so she worked on some more monotypes, which we tried out in week one.

Philipp Hennevogl
German printmaker, Philipp Hennevogl works mostly in single colour linocut prints. The intricate images show tangled, complex but everyday subjects.
John Ross and Clare Romano
This married couple have been working together since the 1950s and are particularly well known for their collagraph prints.
